What sort of person does RED HOT BUSINESS COACHING small business accounting look for?
The most critical important element we look for as a Red Hot Business Coach is that you are a relationship builder, that you enjoy meeting people, selling and building networks. In addition to this it is critical that you have a commitment to your own personal development and have a passion for assisting others
What financial assistance can I obtain if I need to?
We have excellent contacts with most of the major banks and also experienced mortgage brokers. When you contact us we can advise you of the best person to speak to should you seek finance
Can I talk to some of your existing franchisees?
Yes you can- once you have been in for an interview we will give you access to all our franchisees. In fact we require that you speak to at least 4 Franchisees as part of our recruitment process.
How can I be sure that you will do what you promise?
The best thing to do is speak to our existing franchisees and hear about their experience.
On what basis do you choose your franchisees – how selective are you?
We are extremely thorough in our selection process. We have a strong brand and are committed to protecting it. Our selection process is thorough. We will explain this more to you once you contact us.
Who will I deal with once I invest in a Franchise?
All the founding directors of Red Hot are still running the business. One of these directors will be your point of contact
What area will I get?
We have non exclusive territories. Franchises are only established in populated areas that will sustain an Red Hot Business Coaching Franchise
How much working capital will I need?
You should reach break even after about six months, and can begin to draw a wage thereafter. You will need sufficient capital to cover this period. No royalties are charged until you bring on at least 4 clients to ensure that you generate an income before you start to pay royalties.
Do you train me? Who pays for my training? Where do I go for training?
Initial training is conducted in Wellington and lasts for 2 weeks. This training cost is included in the Franchise Fee. You pay for all travel, food and accommodation over this period. After the initial training there is on-going training and support both in the form of one of the directors sitting in with you as you bring on clients and also third party trainers. You are required to meet the costs of extra third party training during your first 12 months.
Do you provide instruction and operational manuals?
Yes we have a training manual and a CD Rom of extra resources. You will also receive materials from third party trainers.
What do I sell?
The majority of time you will sell the Red Hot MasterMind coaching programme. This programme involves you coaching a client for a period of at least 12 months. It will generate you an income of $950 per month per client ($11,400 per annum per client) ex GST.
How much net profit can I earn from my operation?
This is really down to you but we want you to build up your turnover and profits consistently, aiming for an achievable turnover of $220,000 + after 3 years. We expect 40% of your turnover to cover the costs of running your franchise, leaving you with 60% as net profit.
What hours do I need to work?
You should be prepared to work normal office hours (typically Monday to Friday inclusive, 9am to 5pm plus an occasional early evening presentation). In your first few months, you are expected to spend 90%of your time marketing your business and networking to ensure you generate a base of initial clients.
How do I find my clients?
You find your clients by following the RedHot system. The key elements of this system are running workshops and presentations (developed by Red Hot) to attract potential clients and following the Red Hot Business Coaching networking system. In addition to this you will receive client leads from the Red Hot website and some of the parent company marketing initiatives (like editorial articles published by Red Hot in major newspapers)
May I have a copy of your Franchise Agreement?
Yes, we will be pleased to give you a copy of the draft agreement following our interview of you and receiving a deposit payment.
Are there any reports that I need to submit?
Yes we require you to submit weekly sales reports which allow us to collate and analyse sales data across the network to detect patterns, identify gaps and increase the ability of all Franchisees to bring on clients.
What systems do you have for keeping franchisees in touch with yourselves and each other? Do you hold seminars?
We have Regional Meetings and a National Conference once a year to We also hold conference telephone calls regularly covering a range of topics including weekly sales conference calls.
For how long is the franchise granted?
The term of the Franchise Agreement is 10 years with an initial term of 5 years and a renewal for a further 5 years at that point.
What business papers and qualifications do I require?
You do not require any business qualifications. Preference is given to those applicants who have run their own business and can speak form experience.
What coaching qualifications do I require?
Having existing coaching qualifications or experience is a definite advantage. It is not essential however as our training covers all that is required to have you be a full competent Red Hot Business Coach.
